How can one afflicted by the magic of separation and the delusion of illness nullify the magic oneself after consulting numerous sheikhs without benefit?

It is not permissible to counteract magic with other magic, for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever comes to a soothsayer or a diviner and believes what he says, has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad." It is permissible to counteract magic with legal ruqyah (incantation), by reciting the Qur'an over the patient, such as Al-Fatiha and verses that invalidate magic, and by fortifying oneself with prescribed adhkar (remembrances), and by maintaining wudu (ablution). If the magic does not disappear after treatment, then know that this is good for the believer, for it expiates his sins and raises his ranks.
