Why does the tongue of a dying person turn white during the throes of death?

The throes of death are inevitable for every soul, and their intensity does not indicate evil or deficiency in the deceased. Indeed, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, suffered from severe throes of death. The protrusion and whiteness of the tongue at the time of death have no relation to the servant's condition or status with Allah, but rather are due to the organic state of the body. The most important thing is to mention the virtues of the deceased and to increase in supplication for them.
