Is it permissible to deal with usury with the state or banks to complete studies in American universities?

Usury is forbidden and is one of the greatest prohibitions. Allah has threatened those who engage in it with the worst consequences in this world and the Hereafter. It is not permissible except for one who is truly compelled by necessity, as Allah the Almighty says: (And He has already explained to you what He has forbidden to you, except for that to which you are compelled). The questioner's study outside Algerian universities is not a necessity that compels him to borrow with usury. Therefore, he must fear Allah and seek other lawful alternatives. "And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out And will provide for him from where he does not expect."
