What is the ruling on committing zina with a divorced Christian woman and her conceiving, with the desire to repent and continue inviting her to Islam and marrying her, and what is the ruling on abortion or keeping the child and attributing him?
The child is attributed to the husband unless he divorces her, based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: “The child belongs to the bed.” You must sever your relationship with her, and abortion of the fetus is forbidden.
If a woman embraces Islam while her husband remains a disbeliever, her marriage becomes dependent on the (waiting period). If the husband embraces Islam during the iddah, he has a greater right to her; otherwise, the marriage is annulled upon its completion. After the iddah ends, she is permitted to marry whomever she wishes among Muslims, according to Islamic conditions, and you may propose to her at that time.
