Is a sacrifice (udhiyah) obligatory for a wife who has had her marriage contract (aqd) concluded but has not yet consummated the marriage (dukhūl)?

A man is not obligated to slaughter an Udhiyah on behalf of his wife, but if he does so voluntarily, he will be rewarded. He can include her with him in the reward of his Udhiyah, and both will receive recompense, for the marital bond is stronger than kinship.
