Is it permissible for a university student in the Department of Law and Sharia, who suffers from the habit of reaching into the wallets of her family and friends to take money when needed, to rid herself of this action?

One must realize the gravity of the sin of devouring people's wealth unjustly, for Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) have forbidden it, and have threatened its perpetrator with torment, wrath, and curses. Sincere repentance is obligatory, along with returning rights to their owners or seeking their forgiveness, while remembering Allah's watchful eye and the accountability on the Day of Judgment. If exposure is feared, one can resort to stratagems to deliver the rights without disclosing the correct name.
