What is the ruling for someone who catches the last prostration with the Imam in Tarawih prayer, in the event that the Imam stands up immediately after the salutation for the next two rak'ahs, and should he pray two rak'ahs alone or give salutations with the Imam and stand up with him?

Whoever catches the last prostration with the Imam in the Tarawih prayer should stand up after the Imam says the salutation and perform two light rak'ahs to catch up with the Imam in the next Tarwiha, as it is desirable to catch the congregational prayer. Saying the salutation with the Imam without completing the two rak'ahs falls under the ruling of interrupting a supererogatory prayer after commencing it.
