Is it permissible to seek the help of a man to assist a bedridden elderly father with his care, cleaning, and bathing, given that the man and his wife, who is a domestic worker, live in the same house?

It is impermissible for a man to look at the 'awrah (private parts) of another man, based on the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "A man shall not look at the 'awrah of another man." Protecting the 'awrah is obligatory, except from one's wife and what one's right hand possesses. If the father is unable to manage his affairs and needs someone to serve him, there is no harm in hiring a man for his service. However, it is not permissible for this servant to look at his 'awrah or touch it, except in cases of extreme necessity. If it is possible for the mother to handle this part of the service, that is more appropriate. In cases of necessity, it is permissible for the helper to undertake the service, and it is preferred to use a barrier when touching the 'awrah. Scholars have permitted looking at or uncovering the 'awrah in cases of necessity or urgent need, such as serving a patient or removing hair.
