What is the ruling on purchasing a machine for manufacturing wax and selling it to shops, restaurants, Subuʿ (newborn celebration) stores, knowing that its uses include lighting, birthday celebrations, Subuʿ, wedding celebrations, home decoration, and enjoyment between spouses? And would I bear any sin for doing so?

Manufacturing and selling candles are originally permissible, and there is no harm in purchasing a machine for their production. However, it is forbidden to sell them to someone who is known or presumed to use them in a celebration prohibited by Sharia, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." Scholars have explicitly stated the prohibition of selling anything that aids in disobedience.
