Is money earned from captcha work, which serves internet pirates for illegal purposes such as creating fake emails and hacking websites, considered unlawful money that must be disposed of?

Money earned from unlawful benefits is considered illicit gain. If the earner was unaware of its prohibition and then repented, he may benefit from it, as Allah says: "So whoever receives an admonition from his Lord and stops, he may have what has passed." As for one who was aware of its prohibition, he must dispose of it by giving it as charity for the public welfare of Muslims or to the poor and needy.
