How can one convince a non-Muslim, using verses or hadiths, that Jibreel is an angel and not a jinn, when facing someone who tries to cast doubt on the validity of Islamic beliefs?

The interlocutor should possess knowledge, wisdom, and a good demeanor, as Allah Almighty commanded. The skepticism about Jibreel (Gabriel) can be addressed from three perspectives:

1. Belief in angels and the descent of revelation is a matter agreed upon by the followers of all heavenly messages. It is part of belief in the unseen and an affirmation of the prophethood of Muhammad (peace be upon him), which has been established by proofs and miracles.

2. The guidance and light brought by Jibreel in the Holy Quran make it impossible for Satan to have produced it. The Quran calls to monotheism and virtues, and warns against evils. Allah challenged humans and jinn to produce anything like it, and they failed.

3. Doubting Jibreel undermines all prophets. However, a Muslim is distinguished by the argument that humans and jinn are incapable of producing anything like the Quran. The dialogue should begin by establishing faith in Allah and His Messenger before delving into details.
