Brokerage or mediation is permissible, and it is permissible for the broker to take a fee in exchange for facilitating the buyer's acquisition of their needs and promoting the merchandise for the seller, provided that the party from whom the fee is taken is aware. It is not permissible to take a brokerage fee from the mother without her knowledge. As for other intermediaries, it is permissible for them to take brokerage fees by agreement with the mother or with you if you authorize it.
