What is the significance of ants gathering on the body of an eighty-year-old man, who was diligent in performing his obligatory prayers at the mosque and had a good reputation, approximately an hour before his death?

The presence of ants on a deceased body does not indicate its righteousness or corruption, nor is it considered a sign of a good or bad end. However, a man's consistent performance of obligatory prayers in the mosque and the praise of his family, neighbors, and Muslims for his goodness, these are signs of righteousness, in accordance with the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) saying: "To whom you testify good, Paradise becomes due for him; and to whom you testify bad, Hell becomes due for him. You are Allah's witnesses on Earth."
