What is the ruling on secretly bringing food to one's wife without the mother's knowledge or feeding her from it, and is the mother's supplication against the perpetrator of such an act valid?

Allah Almighty commanded to treat parents well, and mothers in particular, as stated in His verses: "His mother carried him in weakness upon weakness" and "His mother carried him with difficulty and gave birth to him with difficulty." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, made the mother the most deserving person of good companionship. Sound reason and upright character agree with the wise Sacred Law regarding the mother's right and virtue. Therefore, a son should not deprive his mother of food when she desires it to give to his wife, and he must beware of his mother's supplication, for it is answered. However, a mother does not have the right to supplicate against her son for this reason if he is fulfilling his duty of providing for her.
