If a family member interrupts me while I am reciting the Qur’an from the Mushaf, should I say "A'udhu billahi minash shaitanir rajim" (I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan) again, or should I continue from where I left off?

If the reciter interrupts his recitation due to an excuse, intending to complete it after the excuse is removed, his initial seeking of refuge (ta'awwudh) is sufficient, unless the interval between the interruption and the return to recitation is long. However, if he interrupts it with the intention of abandoning it and then returns, he must repeat the ta'awwudh. If he interrupts the recitation for a reason related to it, such as asking a question or explaining, he does not repeat the ta'awwudh. But if he interrupts it with speech unrelated to the recitation, then repeating the ta'awwudh is commendable.
