ما هي الآيات الدالة على زيارة الميت لأهله؟

There are no verses indicating that the deceased visit their families, and it appears that the texts imply the impossibility of the deceased returning in a real sense. Allah Almighty has indeed informed us that some of them wish to return to the world but find no way to do so, as in His saying: "Until, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, send me back (99) that I may do righteousness in what I left behind.' No! It is but a word he is saying. And behind them is Barzakh until the Day they are resurrected (100)." And in the hadith of Jabir, Allah said to Jabir's father: "It has already been decreed that they shall not return to it [the world]."
