What is the degree of the Hadith narrated by Abdullah ibn Kinanah, from his father, from his grandfather, in which the Prophet, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, supplicated for his Ummah for forgiveness on the eve of Arafah?

The Hadith was narrated by Ahmad and Al-Bayhaqi. Some Hadith scholars graded it as hasan (good) due to its multiple chains of transmission, while the majority tended to classify it as da'if (weak). Al-Maqdisi pointed out its weakness, and Al-Kinani quoted Al-Bukhari as weakening 'Abdullah ibn Kinanah, one of its narrators. Al-Bayhaqi mentioned that the Hadith has many corroborating reports (shawāhid), and if they are authentic, they provide proof; otherwise, Allah forgives everything short of shirk (associating partners with Him).
