What were the pauses Gabriel made when teaching the Qur’an to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and likewise, what were the pauses the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, made?

No mention of Gabriel's (peace be upon him) pauses can be found in the references, though some later scholars mentioned ten pauses that are desired to be observed, without a reliable chain of transmission. Some of them organized these pauses, which include the perfect, good, sufficient, and permissible stops. Al-Ashmuni clarified the type of each stop and mentioned that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) deliberately paused at some of them.
