It is not permissible for a Muslim doctor to sign a certificate for the cremation of a deceased Muslim, as this constitutes cooperation in sin and aggression. As for a non-Muslim, the matter is subject to consideration, and it is more prudent not to sign for their cremation either, except in cases of extreme necessity.
