The answer

The two books "Al-Jami' al-Kabir" and "Al-Jami' al-Saghir" are both by Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti, who died in the year 911 AH. Abbas Saqr and Ahmad Abd al-Jawad published "Al-Jami' al-Saghir" and its additions in "Jami' al-Ahadith," which is arranged alphabetically. Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi arranged it according to chapters of Islamic jurisprudence and named it "Kanz al-Ummal." A scholarly committee from the Islamic Research Academy at Al-Azhar has authenticated and published many parts of "Al-Jami' al-Kabir."
