Is it permissible to give money to an employee in a company to delay the due date of a debt for another company?
The Sharia prohibits giving money to an employee to delay their debts for three reasons:
1. It resembles a loan that brings a benefit, and every loan that brings a benefit is usury (riba). Therefore, what is paid to the employee in exchange for delaying the debt is considered a loan. 2. It is considered bribery, and "Allah has cursed the briber, the bribed, and the intermediary." 3. It is considered a betrayal of the company.
