Is this Lord, for whom you have lived your life like "dogs" for 31 years, and from whom you "have seen nothing but disdain and neglect," and who threw you "among ignorant, foul fools" and gave you "a life full of pain, tears, and assaults that have shattered you for life"—is this your Lord?
Whoever disbelieves in Allah and His blessings harms only himself, not Allah. Tribulation from Allah has causes, among them: expiation of sins, elevation of ranks, purification of believers, and punishment for sins. A believer must endure tribulation to attain the reward of the patient, for this world is a realm of trials so that the heart may be attached to the Hereafter. The questioner must repent from words of disbelief and dissatisfaction with Allah's decree, for tribulation in this world cannot be compared to eternal torment in Hellfire.
