Is prayer acceptable at home if a Muslim is suffering from diarrhea or stomach pain that causes an odor to be emitted?

If the smell emanating from the ill person is offensive and harms those praying, then they are prevented from entering the mosque, out of consideration for the welfare of the congregation. Their prayer at home is accepted, and they receive the reward of congregational prayer if it was their custom to attend it. If the illness causes continuous flatulence, then they must perform ablution for each prayer after its time has begun.
