What is the ruling on marriage in Morocco if the contract is concluded without a guardian, but is documented by the court after the judge's permission, knowing that the bride cannot inform her family for fear of rejection and violence?

A woman cannot marry herself. Her marriage without a guardian (wali) is invalid according to the majority of scholars. However, if the Sharia (definition) judge rules that this marriage is valid, or if he himself conducts the marriage contract, then his ruling is not to be overturned. It is not permissible for a woman to marry without a guardian, nor does her guardian have the right to prevent her from marrying a suitable match. If he does so, he is considered an oppressor (adil), and she has the right to present her case to the judge for him to arrange her marriage.
