How could the first sin committed be the arrogance of Iblis, when the jinn had sinned before him?

The statements that the first sin with which Allah was disobeyed was the arrogance of Iblis, and that the jinn inhabited the earth before humans and caused corruption therein, have no evidence for them from the Qur’an or the Sunnah, even if some of the Salaf and some scholars have said them. And delving into these matters does not benefit the seeker in any way.
