One must repent of this dangerous word and refrain from returning to it, safeguarding the tongue to avoid perils. Saying "Ya Allah" (O Allah) or "Ya Rabb" (O Lord) is a praiseworthy remembrance and religiously desirable, even if there is no immediate need, based on the : "Whoever desires that Allah respond to him during hardship and distress, let him increase his supplications during times of ease."
