Is it permissible for a Muslim woman to go to a Christian hairdresser, and what are the limits of 'awrah (intimate parts) between them?

The preponderant opinion among scholars is that the awrah (private parts) of a Muslim woman in front of a non-Muslim woman is the entire body except for the face and hands. This is the view of the Hanafis, Malikis, and one opinion of the Shafi'is, and a narration from the Hanbalis. They cite as evidence the Almighty's saying: "And let them not display their adornment except to their husbands... or their women" (An-Nur: 31). "Their women" here refers to Muslim women, which indicates that it is not permissible for a believing woman to display her adornment in front of a non-Muslim woman. If it were permissible for a non-Muslim woman to look at the body of a Muslim woman, the benefit of this specification would be nullified, as Al-Qurtubi said. Therefore, it is not permissible for a believing woman to uncover any part of her body in front of a polytheist woman, unless she is her slave-woman. Accordingly, it is not permissible to adorn oneself in front of a Christian woman, but only in front of Muslim women.
