How is 54 grams of 21-carat gold, recently purchased, to be zakated, knowing that it does not reach the nisab on its own, and should it be added to the existing 115 grams of gold and zakated with it next Ramadan, or next Rajab, or is there no zakat on it?

Gold jewelry prepared for a woman's adornment — the more cautious approach is to pay Zakat on it.

If a woman buys new gold with current currency, its purchase does not interrupt the Zakat year (hawl). If the hawl of the price with which she bought the new gold is the same as the hawl of the old gold, the new gold is added to the old gold, and Zakat is paid on both together. However, if the new gold has a separate hawl, then Zakat is paid on it accordingly. It is permissible to hasten its Zakat and combine it with the first gold for the hawl.

It is not a condition for the Zakat of the second gold that it reaches the nisab by itself, because the nisab is already present in the first gold.

It is not permissible to delay Zakat beyond its due time without an excuse.
