Is it permissible to reveal the feet outside the home or during prayer if they are infected with fungi?

Scholars have differed regarding the obligation for a woman to cover her feet. The majority hold that it is obligatory to cover them, citing the hadith of Umm Salamah. The Hanafis, however, maintain that it is not obligatory to cover them, and Ibn Taymiyyah also adopted this view. Scholars have agreed that uncovering them does not invalidate the prayer, but it is recommended to repeat the prayer within its time. A woman who needs to uncover her feet or is harmed by covering them may follow the Hanafi school. The advice is to cover them outside the home and during prayer, if possible, to avoid scholarly disagreement.
