Is assisting in the investment of funds of unknown origin Haram, even if the investor claims they are Halal?

If you predominantly believe that the money is unlawful, then it is not permissible for you to assist in investing it, due to Allah's saying: (And do not cooperate in sin and aggression). However, if it is merely a doubt, then there is no harm in dealing with it, although abandoning it is better.
