Is it permissible to divorce a pregnant wife due to a misunderstanding and trivial problems, and is there a legitimate Shar'i solution to end marital disputes?

Divorce is permissible, especially when there is a need for it, and it is disliked when there is no need. Its ruling varies between obligation, dislike, and prohibition. There is no sin upon the husband if he divorces his wife when there is a need. It is advisable not to rush into divorce and to exhaust means of reconciliation, such as the intervention of wise family members, as Allah Almighty says: "And if you fear dissension between the two, send an arbitrator from his people and an arbitrator from her people. If they both desire reconciliation, Allah will cause agreement between them." If reconciliation is possible, the marital relationship should be based on mutual respect and fulfilling duties, while remembering the blessing of children and supplicating for their well-being. If reconciliation is not possible, and cohabitation becomes unbearable, and the benefit of divorce outweighs other considerations, then it is permissible to proceed with it. The intervention of family members should be for reconciliation, not for causing corruption, and one should refer to scholars to clarify the truth regarding issues of freedoms and equality.
