Is the cause of a father's death a delay in diagnosing and treating the illness, or is death unrelated to a cause? Are the children sinful for the delay in treatment given the father's refusal to be hospitalized? Is the appointed time of death determined from the date of birth?

Death is a divine decree and predestination ordained for all servants, and its cause, time, and place are all predetermined by Allah Almighty, whether it be due to illness or otherwise. It is permissible for the sick to seek treatment, but it is not obligatory. And for a person to die far from their birthplace, there is virtue and goodness for them, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, when a man dies in a place other than his birthplace, it will be measured for him, from his birthplace to the place where his traces end, a place in Paradise." There is no sin in delaying treatment if it is by the patient's wish, because seeking treatment is recommended, not obligatory.
