Is it permissible to buy shares of pure companies despite the doubt expressed by some scholars regarding these companies?

There is no harm in purchasing shares in pure companies, investing in them, and benefiting from their profits. As for the skepticism of some scholars regarding this, whoever believes their opinion to be stronger, then it is forbidden for him. And whoever believes it to be permissible based on its purity from the impurities of the forbidden, then it is permissible for him. And whoever abstains from it out of piety, then it is a praiseworthy precaution. If the opinions differ for a layperson and he does not know which is stronger, then he must take the more cautious approach, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, the lawful is clear, and the unlawful is clear, and between them are doubtful matters about which many people do not know. So whoever guards himself against doubtful matters, he has indeed cleansed his religion and his honor."
