If a girl repents and becomes righteous, then her past shortcomings are of no account, because repentance erases what came before it. The young man should take the initiative to marry her, especially if his heart is attached to her, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "We have not seen for two who love one another anything like marriage." If she has not truly repented, then he should stay away from her and seek a righteous woman.
