ما هي فضائل أبي ذر رضي الله عنه؟

Abu Dharr al-Ghifari, Jundub ibn Junadah, was among the earliest converts to Islam, being the fifth person to embrace it. He issued fatwas during the eras of the Caliphs. He was characterized by asceticism, truthfulness, knowledge, and righteous deeds. He was a speaker of truth and witnessed the conquest of Jerusalem. He used to criticize the governors of Uthman for their worldly expansion, reminding them of the verse: ﴿وَالَّذِينَ يَكْنِزُونَ الذَّهَبَ وَالْفِضَّةَ﴾ (And those who hoard gold and silver). He was the first to greet the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, with the greeting of Islam, and he accompanied him extensively. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, loved him and was keen to advise him, saying: "O Abu Dharr, I see you as weak, and I love for you what I love for myself. Do not be in charge of two people, nor be guardian over an orphan's property." He reached the pinnacle of truthfulness, to the extent that the Prophet described him as having the most truthful tongue on earth. He meticulously followed the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in his treatment of servants, dressing his servant in the same manner he dressed himself, in imitation of the Prophet. He passed away in the year thirty-two in al-Rabadha.
