Descriptions of Musa and 'Isa (peace be upon them) in Sahih Al-Bukhari and Muslim state that Musa was dark-skinned, tall, with wavy hair, as if he were one of the men of Shanu'ah. 'Isa was of medium height, with a reddish-white complexion and straight hair. In a narration by Ahmad, it is stated: 'Isa was reddish, with wavy hair, broad-chested, and Musa was dark-skinned and well-built.
