Ibn Al-Qayyim mentioned in "Madarij Al-Salikin" six instances in the Qur'an where tranquility (sakinah) is mentioned. Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah used to recite the verses of tranquility when matters became difficult for him.
