What is the reason for seeking refuge from the tribulation of the grave, even though the believer will answer the questions of the two angels?

It has been authentically reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he sought refuge from the trial and torment of the grave. This encompasses the questioning by the two angels and the torment of the grave. This trial is a severe test that only the steadfast believer can answer. It has been coupled with the trial of the Antichrist (Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal) in its severity. The reason for seeking refuge from it is the difficulty of the angels' questions and what ensues from them, in addition to the torment of the grave. Excluded from this trial are the Prophets, the truthful ones (Siddiqoon), the martyrs, those who guard the frontiers (Murabitun), and those who lack intellect such as the insane and children.
