What do you think of the opinion of those who believe that the word "tabarruj" (displaying adornment) is elastic and varies depending on individuals, madhhabs (schools of thought), or countries? And what is the response to those who say that hijab is the hijab of the mind and soul, not a piece of cloth, or that laws protect women, not hijab?

A sensible person should not dwell on every doubt and detail, but rather strive to build and spread the truth. The word "تبرج" (tabarruj - wanton display) is a Quranic term that was not problematic for the Companions or the enemies. The Sharia has clarified what a woman must cover, such as her entire body. The proof for this is the Almighty's saying: (And not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof; and to draw their headcovers over their chests). A sound understanding requires referring the speaker to his own terminology, clarification, and the language of the people. The Qur'an has clarified everything mentioned within it. Those who object to the hijab contradict themselves, for laws alone do not protect societies without awareness and intellectual and behavioral fortification. The hijab is part of a comprehensive system to protect women and society, and the controversies surrounding it stem from doubt and hesitation regarding Allah and His Book.
