Is a woman considered disobedient (nashiz) if she refuses to leave her job in a mixed-gender school before marriage and requests khulʿ (divorce at her initiative), and what is her ruling, and is it permissible to marry her?

A woman who has not been consummated (non-دخل بها) owes obedience to her guardian (wali), and she is not considered disobedient (nashiz) if she does not obey her husband before consummation.

If the mixing in her work is forbidden (haram), then she must leave it in obedience to Allah and His Messenger. She should be advised gently, and her guardian should be counseled to prevent her from it.

There is no sin in completing the marriage with her if she is a chaste Muslim woman. After consummation, the husband has the right to prevent her from forbidden work, and she must obey him; otherwise, she would be considered disobedient (nashiz).
