Is a child considered the son of zina (fornication/adultery), taking into account that the marriage contract was invalid due to the absence of its essential pillars, and intercourse occurred during the waiting period (iddah) without the intention of reconciliation, and intercourse increases hearing, sight, and creation?

There is no contradiction between the two fatwas; the child is your son and is attributed to you if you had intercourse with the woman believing she was your wife. Therefore, there is no need for anxiety or obsessive doubts, and repeating the question reinforces these doubts. We have clarified for you in the second fatwa the correct understanding of the texts that condemned the child of zina. If his mother is harming him, she has no right to his custody, so strive to take him from her by resorting to the Sharia court. We advise you to fear Allah, seek good companionship, and frequently supplicate to Allah for steadfastness in religion.
