1 min readAlso available in العربية

The noble Hadith: "Leave that which makes you doubt for that which does not make you doubt. For truthfulness is tranquility and falsehood is doubt" means: abandon what you are unsure of, whether it is permissible or forbidden, or good or bad, and turn to what you are certain of its goodness and permissibility. For truthfulness brings tranquility and peace to the heart, while falsehood disturbs and agitates it. This Hadith is a fundamental principle in the chapter of piety (Wara'), urging one to abandon doubtful matters, adhere to certainty, and forsake what is questionable. It applies to acts of worship, transactions, marriages, and all other branches of knowledge.
