Is it permissible for a woman whose husband has passed away to wear her wedding ring during the 'iddah (waiting period)?

A woman whose husband has died must observe a mourning period (iddah) by refraining from adornment and similar things for four months and ten days, unless she is pregnant, in which case her waiting period extends until she gives birth. This includes refraining from applying perfume, using kohl, wearing ornate clothing, wearing jewelry, applying henna, and reddening the face, due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "She should not wear saffron-dyed clothes, nor clothes dyed with red ochre, nor jewelry, nor apply henna, nor use kohl."
