It is prescribed to warn against people with corrupt beliefs if their ideas spread and there is a fear that people will be influenced by them. This falls under the rubric of offering sincere advice to Muslims, based on the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "Religion is sincere advice." Warning against false ideas remains necessary as long as the books containing them exist, while differentiating between proponents of misguidance who died upon their misguidance, and sincere scholars who authored books that contain some errors.
