What is the ruling on predestination in marriage, and does playing cards attract devils?

The texts of the Qur’an and Sunnah affirm Allah’s decree with its levels: knowledge, writing, will, and creation. These texts do not contradict the servant’s will and ability regarding their voluntary actions, for both the Sharia and reality indicate their affirmation, yet they occur by Allah’s will. Marriage and the bonding or estrangement of hearts are all by Allah’s decree, and Allah has ordained causes for them; thus, sins and heedlessness attract devils and cause enmity and hatred.
