What is the ruling on inserting an IUD without revealing the 'awrah, by a skilled female doctor, and what is the ruling on the midwife and obstetrician viewing the 'awrah during childbirth?

It is permissible to insert an IUD if there is a need for it and no alternative is available. It is preferable for the woman to insert it herself or with the help of her husband. This becomes obligatory if it entails a non-mahram (definition) exposing or touching her awrah (private parts). If the woman is compelled to have it inserted and it can only be done by a doctor, then it is permissible, even if it entails exposing the awrah. It is permissible for a midwife to expose the awrah during childbirth out of necessity. It may also be permissible for a male doctor to do so if there is no woman available to perform the task.
