Is it permissible for a Muslim to enter into a partnership to rent a commercial shop with an atheist?

The participation of a non-Muslim is not forbidden if the limits of Sharia are observed, and the transaction is free from unlawful elements. However, it is preferable for a Muslim to choose a trustworthy Muslim partner. For this reason, jurists have disliked partnership with a disbeliever or one who does not avoid unlawful dealings.
