If the image is a complete, three-dimensional figure, it is not permissible to hang it in the house, based on the hadith: "Indeed, the people who will receive the severest punishment on the Day of Judgment are the image-makers." However, if the image is incomplete or its features are effaced, then there is no harm in it.
