The question

Is a cesarean section obligatory when there are concerns about the life of the fetus, and should it be hastened before natural labor out of concern for it, or is it better to wait for natural labor regardless of the fate of the fetus?

The answer

Natural childbirth is the best. Cesarean delivery should not be resorted to except in cases of extreme necessity where natural childbirth is not possible, or when there is a risk to the life of the mother or the fetus. Laxity in resorting to it unnecessarily is considered blameworthy, due to the numerous harms that result from it and the loss of the benefits of natural labor pain.
