Is it obligatory to give in charity to non-relatives the money received from the company on the occasion of the Prophet's birthday? And is keeping it to meet personal and family needs considered a circumvention of Sharia, especially given the inability to refuse or return the money?

It is permissible to accept gifts related to innovated holidays, including holidays of the disbelievers, provided that the gift is not a slaughtered animal sacrificed to other than Allah or one whose slaughter is not permissible. What is forbidden is celebrating these holidays or assisting in their celebration, while there is no harm in accepting gifts. The Companions accepted gifts from the Majus (Zoroastrians) during their holidays, as narrated by Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, which indicates that the holiday does not affect the permissibility of accepting the gift.
